Fortunately, it looks like Rudy Giuliani’s bid for the presidency is well on its way toward the ignominious crash-and-burn finale it so richly deserves.
Never one to go out with a shred of dignity or grace left intact, Rudy is fighting back from the beyond the grave with a new TV ad featuring hordes of angry, chanting brown-skinned people and a ominous voice-over about the next crisis being “a moment away.”
No surprise, given that Giuliani has trafficked in just this sort of blatant racial fear-mongering throughout his political career. This one seems like a new low, though, even for him.
